Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP)

A comprehensive, wraparound workforce and case management model for Chicagoland participants ages 18–24. Summer and year-round projects build employment readiness and support long-term career advancement.

Funded in partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services, IYIP combines resume building, interview preparation, professional development workshops, certifications and apprenticeships with strength-based case management.

About this Program

Workforce development covers labor market exploration, job-seeking exercises, dress-for-success workshops, certification programs, apprenticeships, and post-secondary enrollment support.

Trauma-informed workshops address specific areas of need. Housing connections and health provider linkages — through our Center for Health and Housing partnership — extend support beyond the workplace.
